This template for AE CS6 or above creates various camouflage patterns using AE’s fractal noise and several other standard effects.
Here’s a template I originally put together for my own use but thought I’d share it since it’s pretty useful. This AE template has six different luma matte dissolves that you can use as they are or modify to your liking. Just import the AE project file drop the comps into your timeline. You can also render them out as movie files to use in the NLE of your choice. There are both 720 and 1080 HD versions included, along with a quick reference chart.
This is a template that I put together from a couple of past projects where I needed to animate flipping through the pages of a calendar. I’ve included calendars for all 12 months of 2013 and you can also use your own calendars or other artwork. See the notes in the project folder for instructions. Works with AE CS5 or higher. Here’s a preview of the default animation, which you can of course change to suit your needs.
Red Giant’s awesome Psunami is a great water simulation plug-in for AE, however, it’s not cheap, can be tricky to use and takes quite a while to render, especially at the high quality settings. This is a template for creating an animated filmstrip or sequence of images or videos with controls for the image size and space between images and for the scrolling animation speeed. You can drag the layers to rearrange the order of the images and they automatically maintain their distance from each other. Instructions are included in the project file.
